Gain confidence is handling pediatric chiropractic cases. We will review good practice specifics and logistics involved when seeing such a young population.

Ages 5-18: 1pm-5:00pm

Presented by: Dr. Jennifer Murphy

School age kids:  Not the little adults they think they are.

Physiological changes from age 5-18 are not as fast as the first 5 years of life, but consider how many childhood injuries become lifelong issues.  Consider young children are taught sports by parents, not coaches with poor equipment.  Many are pushed to or beyond their limits to fulfill parental ambitions.  We struggle with the new issues of obesity, technology and stress/anger in our children.  Mainstream medicine pushes a drug agenda without considering the long term effect both physical and mentally.  Exercise now comes from Big Tech with controllers, smart phones, and other hand held gaming devices. In these 4 hours, we will put together how all of these influences are affecting our kids in a negative way and how chiropractors can provide solutions to these issues better than any one else.
