What is one thing you want NCCA members to know about you?

The most important thing to me is to continue the NCCA’s work in improving not only the practice of chiropractic throughout the state but also access and utilization of chiropractic.  I believe everyone should have access to quality chiropractic care and will support the NCCA’s efforts to continue their campaign of “Who is your Chiropractor”.

Why do you want  to be elected to the NCCA Board of Directors?

I believe that the NCCA has been working for North Carolina’s chiropractors.  I would like to continue the mission of unity in the chiropractic profession within the state.  I would also like to help improve our state’s ability to attract new chiropractors by creating programs to help students while still in school and enhancing our mentoring program to insure the success of new doctors in our area.

What is one thing you want NCCA members to know about you?

During my time as NCCA President and throughout my years on the board, we fought many decisive internal battles which, though hard work and doing what is best for the members and the NCCA over pursuing our individual wants, paved the way for a better organization.

Why do you want to be elected to the NCCA Board of Directors?

The NCCA is a its strongest position legislatively, financially, and structurally that I have seen in my 30 years as a member. As a past president, and a member, I want this organization to grow, and with my past experience, I can be a benefit.

What is one thing you want NCCA members to know about you?

I understand the purpose of what it means to serve on the Board – making decisions that are in the best interest of the membership and the NCCA’s Mission. During my 3 years on the Board, I have used that measuring stick when making decisions and taking action. I do not take that responsibility lightly, and feel that it is inherent to the strength of our Association. I want every member to benefit more from their membership each year and my goal is to continue make that happen.

Why do you want to be elected to the NCCA Board of Directors?

Having already served 3 years on the Board, there is more work for the good of our members that I want to get done. Serving the membership is an honor, and I feel that I have more to give. The NCCA has never been in a better position, and I want to continue to grow and strengthen our association.

What is one thing you want NCCA members to know about you?

I am impartial when making decisions as a board member.  I do a very good job of not making snap decisions but rather gathering as much information as possible and thinking things through.  I always tried to make decisions based on what is best for chiropractic in our state and our members rather than my own personal practice.  In my opinion this is the most important characteristic of any board member.

Why do you want to be elected to the NCCA Board of Directors?

I think that the board of directors should in many ways reflect the members of the NCCA as a whole and I bring a unique perspective to the board.  My experiences help me voice the concerns and needs of several subsets of the membership that for many years was not well represented.
