 Are you an experienced D.C.

 with knowledge to share?

How to be a Mentor

Simply fill out a Mentor Form telling us a little bit about yourself, your practice, and your chiropractic philosophy. Indicate what topics you feel comfortable advising the younger chiropractic generation on, and indicate the best ways to contact you and your availability.
Here is the form: 2015 Mentor Form.
Who can be a mentor?
Any experienced NCCA D.C. who is willing to pass on the occasional bit of wisdom to our newly licensed D.C.s and would be willing to answer a question or two from time to time.
What commitments do I have to make?
There are no rules for the time you have to commit. You decide your availability times and methods of communication and the mentees contact you based on those parameters.
Example: Dr. Smith is available anytime, but only by e-mail, where as Dr. Doe is only available M-F on his office phone. They are both mentors, but on the schedule that works best for them!

Are you a new D.C. who could

  Use some career guidance?

For Mentees: How to use the Mentor Bank
If you are a new D.C. and looking for advice, guidance, or just a little information to help you figure out how to start your own business, or just be a great chiropractor in the state of North Carolina, then look no further than your helpful NCCA Mentor Bank!
How does it work?
Starting in 2015, we will have a bank of mentors that can be found on the NCCA website. Each mentor will have information about what hours they are available and the best way to reach them.
How will I know which Mentor can help me the most?
Each mentor’s profile will have information about what kind of practice they run, how long they have been practicing, geographic location and what school they attended. This will help you decide which mentor is right for you based on your specific need at that time.
