This information is for Chiropractic Assistants who are NOT education exempt in regards to the North Carolina Mandatory Chiropractic Assistant Certification that takes effect July 1, 2014.

If a CA leaves your employment prior to sitting for the 6 hour certification class, you can transfer this class at full value to another CA within one year of the initial registration date. Cancellations requiring a refund will incur a $50 cancellation fee. 


Please note that this registration is for all 24 hours of education.  Links to the online education portion will be sent after registration is received and processed. These links will be sent to the e-mail that the attendee registered with, so please take note that registration is made with the correct e-mail. 


All online education must be completed prior to 8:00 AM on Monday, July 17th in order to sit for the exam following the in-person education (NCCA deadline).




Please note that application and required documents for the NC BOE must also be received by Friday, July 7th to qualify for the exam. These documents are sent to the North Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

Up to 18 Hours Online
At least 6 Hours in Person
  • 18 hours of Online Education: This can be done at your own pace, but must be completed before the 6 in-person hours.
  • 6 hours of In-Person Education: These six hours will take place in a live classroom setting and be immediately followed by the Certification Exam.

The North Carolina Chiropractic Association (NCCA) is pleased to provide educational opportunities for chiropractic assistants who are seeking certification from the North Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NCBOCE).The NCCA provides these educational opportunities as a service to assist chiropractic assistants in meeting the educational requirements for certification.The NCCA provides these educational opportunities, after approval by the NCBOE, without any guarantee of success in passing the examination given by the NCBOCE.The NCCA is not responsible for the content of the educational modules and any opinions expressed are those of the instructor, not necessarily those of the NCCA, it’s leaders, or employees.
